Professor and senior researcher of the department of Science and Technology, Tras-os-Montes and Alto Douro University, Portugal. Chairman of the Organizing Committee of Portugal International Micromouse competition. Research interests: MEMS sensors, microcontrollers and embedded systems, focusing on agricultural applications. Completed a number of Portuguese national and international funded vertical and horizontal research projects, including: safety, Eno-analysis, RobTech, IPAVPSI, Focus, etc.
