Sensors play a very important role in the control system, and it is an indispensable part of the sensing system. There are five groups of infrared sensors on TQD-MicroMouse JD, each is composed of infrared transmitter and infrared receiver.
Micromouse infrared detection circuit is used to detect the maze walls.There are five directions: the left, the front-left, the front, the front-right and the right. The details are as follows:
1. Using the five groups of sensors to detect obstacles within a certain distance enables TQD-MicroMouse JD to know if there are any obstacles. It can also be used for cell identification and turning control in the process of running.
2. The infrared sensors on left and right side can roughly judge the distance of the obstacle, and indicate three status: non-obstacle, obstacle, and near obstacle.
